How It Works

Step-by-step Application
Switch off & empty appliance
Switch off the freezer or freezer compartment and empty it completely. Keep food safely chilled.
Spray on icy areas
Spray Frostaway generously on all icy surfaces and allow it to take full effect until the ice layer is dissolved.
Collect melted water
Collect melted water with a dishcloth or towel to avoid puddles.
Wipe dry — no rinsing
Wipe the interior surfaces dry with a clean, dry cloth. Do not wipe wet — the appliance must be completely dry before switching it back on.

Note: Wipe the appliance completely dry before switching it back on — residual moisture can lead to short circuits. Do not use sharp or metallic objects for defrosting — Frostaway gently removes the ice by itself. Only store food again when the appliance has completely cooled down to operating temperature.
